FVS provides services for all production species with ambulatory and haul-in clinic capabilities including a calving chute. We have all large animals supplies and vaccines available in house. We can set up any herd
health program for your operation including vaccination schedules and nutritional consultation, while also doing sugeries, working cattle and sickness issues. Dr. Frick stays current with the latest agricultural practices through membership in The American Association of Bovine Practitioners, Society for Theriogenology, American Veterinary Medical Association, and continuing education directed at forwarding animal agriculture. These associations help keep us in touch with the latest technologies associated with stocker/feeders, beef cow/calf, dairy, swine, poultry, llamas, alpacas, sheep and goat industries.
Lab Testing available includes trichomonas testing, brucellosis testing, bull/ram breeding soundness exams, pregnancy testing, and ultrasound pregnancy for small ruminants.
Health papers are also provided for traveling, selling livestock, or livestock shows and fairs. Vaccination certification can be provided when vaccines are bought from FVS or when Dr. Frick works the livestock. Calfhood vaccination (Bangs) for heifers is available for females 4- 12 months old.
